A través de este seminario, Marek Tuszynski, director creativo de la Tachtical Technology Collective (Berlin) y director del proyecto de investigación periodística Exposing the invisible, nos mostrará a través diferentes ejemplos y recursos prácticos, como gestionar la evidencia, datos y visualización en activismo digital y periodismo de investigación. Este workshop/seminario está orientado a profesionales, investigadores, y entusiastas en los campos de periodismo digital y de investigación, medios críticos y activismo social.

Spectrum of Influence
A seminar of visualization, evidence and data journalism in alternative media.
Through this seminar, Marek Tuszynski, creative director of the Tactical Technology Collective (Berlin) and one of the driving forces behind the investigative journalism project Exposing the invisible, will show us, through different examples and practical resources, how to deal with evidence, data and visualization in digital activism and investigative journalism. This workshop is mainly addressed to professionals, researchers and enthusiasts on the fields of digital and investigative journalism, critical media and social activism.
The structure of this 4 hour workshop will be as follows:
- New Media and Technology (as: astronomy is not about telescopes)
- Evidence and Visual versus Influence
- The Image and Evidence in Operation
- Image on the Run
- Evidence on the Run
- Lets Be Open About It There Are Some Security and Privacy Concerns
- Visibility and Anonymity
Marek Tuszynski is a restless producer of various creative and social interventions that span across various media: radio, television and internet; as well as utilise non technical formats such as workshops, books sprints and endless conversations. Activism, innovation and creativity are the major driving forces in his work as much as the importance of marginalised voices, opinions and world views.
He co-founded The Second Hand Bank, International Contemporary Art Network, Tactical Tech and recently Tactical Studios. He is currently focusing on producing interactive and static visualisations representing complex social and political issues, he is working on the next documentary film for Tactical Tech; Exposing the Invisible, in some spare time he is producing a radio program titled Love & Chaos on Reboot FM.
